Cruise liner ‘Disney Wonder,’ operated by Disney Cruise Line docked in Funchal harbour at 06:00 this morning, on what is her first post-Covid sailing from Dover to Port Canaveral, Florida.
With no passengers onboard, the ship is operating with a skeleton crew of 205 staff and docked in Madeira purely to pick up supplies. She is scheduled to leave at 17:00 this evening.
The Disney Wonder was launched on the 23rd of February 1998, and officially entered service in August 1999. She was later refurbished in 2016. She can carry 945 crew members and 2,400 passengers.
