The Câmara de Lobos Public Security Police, BIR (Rapid Response Brigade), undercover agents, the Judiciary Police and firefighters were this morning involved in a large-scale police operation that started at 7 am and ended at 11 am, at a property located on the border between Câmara de Lobos and Estreito de Câmara de Lobos.
According to local newspaper, JM, the operation involved the closure of several streets in the vicinity as police raided a house, where an individual was believed to be hiding explosives. The suspect was quickly arrested, and worryingly, explosives were found inside the building.
