This week, a young pregnant Chinese businesswoman was the victim of a violent assault. She was attacked as she entered her place of work, and then stabbed in her lower back as her assailant forced her to open the cash register of the shop.
In response to this, the Mayor of Câmara de Lobos, Pedro Coelho will meet tomorrow, the 26th of August, with officers from the Public Security Police to address certain issues. These include traffic circulation within the town centre, and the policing of the town.
