Madeira’s Army Garrison Regiment No. 3 is currently undergoing training on the new Glock 17 Gen5 9mm pistol.
As part of the Light Weaponry Project, under the Soldier’s Combat Systems Programme, the training aims to give both theoretical and practical training in the new weapon, and the Glocks introduction is part of the Portuguese Army modernisation programme.
