Two Arrested for Drug Trafficking

The Public Security Police (PSP) Madeira has announced that they have arrested two citizens, one male and one female, aged 39 and 43 years respectively, for drug trafficking.

According to the PSP, the arrests took place in the parish of Gaula, where they apprehended the couple who had in their possession 150 individual doses of  Cocaine, 6 doses of Hashish, 1 small Liamba (Marijuana) plant and other miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

The detainees were presented at the Santa Cruz Judicial Court and await sentencing.
