This heartwarming story just shows how animals when loved can recover from abuse and abandonment. On their Facebook page, the Funchal Municipal Kennel announced that one of their rescued dogs, Lobita, who was abandoned in Eira do Serrado has now become a therapy dog.
Her story is one that proves that mankind does care, as after Lobita was rescued by the Funchal Municipal Kennel she was then adopted and flown to Germany through ‘Vamos Lá Madeira.
With a new life in front of her ‘Lobita’ works as a therapy dog. From needing help herself, she now in turn helps others.
