Hope Crescent hasn’t lived up to its name for a long time. That is until ex-rock songstress, the Reverend Dolores Lane becomes the new vicar at St. Matthews. To celebrate its 8th anniversary, the Museological Nucleus of the House of the People of Caniço will hold a talk on the life of José António Costa, a US civil aviation pioneer who was born in Caniço in 1909.
