KLM announced this week that it successfully carried out the first passenger flight between between Amsterdam and Madrid, using a fuel mix of sustainably manufactured synthetic kerosene on the 22nd of January. The aircraft fuel load contained 500 litres of sustainable synthetic kerosene which had been produced by Shell at its research centre in Amsterdam.
