Cruise liner, MS World Voyager, operated by Nicko Cruises, is set to make a return to Madeira, and will dock in Funchal harbour on the 9th of June. However, according to local newspaper, JM, the ship will depart from Funchal harbour on an eight day cruise from Madeira - Azores - Madeira.

Today the body of the monk seal found dead on a pebble beach between Jardim and Paul do Mar yesterday, was removed and transported to the Whale Museum, in Caniçal where it will undergo an autopsy.
