The Institute of Health Administration, IP-RAM (IASAÚDE, IP-RAM) informs that beneficiaries of the Regional Health Service of Madeira (SRS-Madeira) can now renew their Special Reimbursement Card (CRE). The renewal must be carried out between June and December.
Implemented by the Regional Government of Madeira, through IASAÚDE, IP-RAM, the CRE aims to provide additional reimbursement in health expenses with medical consultations, according to the scale assigned to the beneficiary.
Bracket A is intended for pensioners who receive pensions in an amount not exceeding the regional minimum wage and who are exempt from Personal Income Tax (IRS), benefiting from a refund of €27.50. Bracket B covers beneficiaries of SRS-Madeira who earn income in an amount not exceeding the regional minimum wage and are exempt from IRS, with a refund of €25.63.
In 2024, more than 2,200 active beneficiaries benefited from this support, highlighting the importance of the CRE in promoting equitable access to health care in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
So far, seventeen cards have been issued this year.
The registration and renewal of the CRE can be done in person at the customer services available in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
