The emergency services were called out this afternoon to attend to a small fire in a restaurant located in Largo do Chafariz, Funchal.
According to local newspaper, JM, the fire originated in a deep fat fryer.
Eleven firefighters quickly controlled the situation, and there was no record of any injuries.
