This weekend, the Friends Association of the Conservatory of Music of Madeira, with the support of the Municipality of Funchal, will host the final two days of Madeira PianoFest at the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias (TMBD). Both concerts start at 18:00.
The “Madeira PianoFest” comprises five concerts, including three solo recitals and two recitals on two pianos, by seven pianists of six different nationalities. This event, under the artistic direction of Robert Andres, aims to demonstrate the ways in which the piano has an almost unlimited capacity about it which inspired the creative genius of composers whose music is still beloved today.
November 12th: “Piano Masters”/ “Masters of piano” with Pasquale Lannone
November 13th “The brilliant piano” with Svetlana Eganian and Yolande Kouznetsov.
