This year’s World Physiotherapy Day will be held at the Santa Luzia Gardens, with the theme being osteoarthritis on Thursday the 8h of September.
The start of the celebrations is scheduled for 14:30. “This year, the physiotherapists have as partners SESARAM TSDT RAM, Centro Sénior das Cruzes -socio Habita, Clinica Médica de Machico, ACSS Raquel Lombardi, Clube Judobrava, ANDO- Polo Madeira, CIN”, informs the organization.
The afternoons programme is as follows:
14:30-15:00: Opening / Check up and Measurement by the Medical Clinic of Machico (TA, Oximetry, Body Mass Index, Dyspnea, among others);
15:00-15:30: March through the park;
15:30 -16:00: Relaxation/Pilates/ Stretching;
16:00-16:30 – Musical Moment;
16:30-17:00 – Closing ceremony.
