The Omicron peak has passed and our numbers are going down rapidly, so the Government decided not to publish daily numbers anymore. They will now let us have a monthly statistic at the end of each month.
As reported, testing is not required for incoming travelers anymore, but the MadeiraSafe system (keeping in touch with the visitors by SMS) continues.
The Current Covid Restrictions – mainly, mask wearing, and your vaccination certificate should be in your wallet – will continue to be noted in the column to the left.
As I don’t have to wait for the numbers anymore, I’ll now spend my evening on other pursuits!
