The President of the Regional Government today expressed his concern about unvaccinated pregnant women.

While talking to reporters, he said,

“Right now, one of our biggest concern is the number of pregnant women who remain unvaccinated.”  A situation which has been confirmed by recent Regional Health Authority (RHA) reports. The President then went on to highlight a case where an unvaccinated pregnant woman was ‘Medevac’d’ from Porto Santo today, as she was ‘presenting a problematic situation.’

The vaccination of pregnant women is strong advised by the RHA, as per all health and safety precautions.
