A man was attacked, this morning, by individuals near a petrol station on Avenida do Infante, Funchal.
According to a fire department source, the alleged aggressors kicked and beat a homeless man, who usually sleeps near the petrol station, in the head. He was later rescued by firefighters and taken to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital, where he received treatment for head injuries.
