‘Mirage’ on display at 6.30 pm

Madeiran artist Georgina Abreu today presents her first individual photography and video exhibition entitled ‘Miragem’. You can view the artists work from today until the 23rd of July at T1 at Barreirinha Bar Café.

The Castanheiro Boutique Hotel promise “wonderful cocktails,” “delicious tapas” and “good music” as they return to their regular Friday night Sunset Terrace event from 6 pm to 9 pm. The cost is €13.50 per person and reservations have to be made in advance.
Presentation of Luís Calisto’s Book, at 6 pm

The journalist Luís Calisto will present tomorrow his fourth work entitled ‘Marítimo – Antiquity is a post’. A book that promises to be controversial in relation to the founding dates of several clubs in Madeira, will be presented to the public at Placa Central, Funchal. The event will also be attended by the President of CS Marítimo, Carlos Pereira, and three noteworthy speakers: Alberto João Jardim (Ex-president of Madeira), Eugénio Mendonça (Doctor) and Raimundo Quintal (Researcher).

The Miguel Pires’ project will showcase a new artist on Saturday the 11th of July. Tiago Sena Silva, is a well-known Madeiran singer, who will be in ‘conversation’ with Miguel Pires at 7:00 pm. This digital discussion aims to alert and sensitise people about culture today.
