All passengers must complete the survey by the Regional Health Authority (IASAÚDE).
pre-travel, to be completed between 48 hours and 12 hours prior to departure.
The survey is available on the official IASAUDE website and will be accessible through the websites of the airlines that so choose.

Alternatively, filling out the survey on paper may occur on arrival at airports in the RAM.

1. Thermal screening
All passengers disembarking at airports in the RAM are subject to thermal screening, even if they carry a negative test for COVID-19, carried out within 72 hours prior to disembarkation, in laboratories certified by national or international authorities.

  1. Test for COVID-19
Passengers disembarking at airports in the RAM with a negative test for COVID-19, carried out within 72 hours prior to disembarkation, in laboratories certified by national or international authorities, proceed to their destination, upon presentation of the respective report which can also be submitted, in advance, together with the inquiry referred to in point 1.

Passengers disembarking at airports in the RAM who have not tested for COVID-19, will do so at the respective airport on arrival, with a maximum period of 1 hour estimated for the completion of the process.

After carrying out the aforementioned test, the passenger will proceed to their destination, being exempt from mandatory confinement, while respecting the rules of social distance, use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and sanitary safety.

The test result will be reported to the passenger within the next 12 hours.

  1. Monitoring
All passengers will be monitored through an APP (mobile application) of the Regional Health Authority, voluntary but recommended, or by telephone contact.

    1. Positive test result for COVID-19
The passenger will be directed to a designated hotel and all persons in the group (direct contacts) will be subject to mandatory confinement.
The Government of the RAM will assume the respective costs of treatment, accommodation and meals, in the designated hotel unit.

After 7 days, the passenger will be subjected to a new test for COVID-19, for a decision by the Regional Health Authority.

If the disease manifests itself during the stay, the respective hotel will continue to host the passenger and must comply with the guidelines issued by the Regional Health Authority.

1. Repatriation
The Government of the RAM collaborates with all Diplomatic Authorities and operators involved.
Charges related to repatriation operations must be covered by the travel insurance policy of the passengers concerned.
