A Pestana Hotel Group bulletin states that business will resume from the 5th of June in all of its hotels and some of its Pousadas de Portugal.
According to a company statement the initial re-opening phase will see several hotels open including the Pestana Cascais will open in Lisbon , Algarve, Pestana Viking, Pestana Alvor South Beach and Pestana D. João Villas. Pousadas de Portugal will re-open Viana do Castelo, Ria de Aveiro, Alcácer do Sal, Sagres, Valença and Bragança units. The Pestana Tróia Eco-Resort is now available, as well as access to the group’s golf courses.
The Casino da Madeira, the group, has confirmed that it will re-open in June.
In line with new health and safety guidelines, the Pestana Hotel Group has implemented new procedures to ensure that both hotel employees and guests are protected. These include the creation of clearly marked circulation routes. Enhanced features on their app will allow for greater social distancing and non-personal contact. Common areas, such as lifts and swimming pools will have new cleaning regulations, as will the cleaning of all guest rooms. The hotel will also provide additional individual protection materials, such as masks, visors, shoe protectors, gloves and alcohol-gel.
Restaurants will operate by appointment, and take-away, and room service will be available.
