Funchal City Council (CMF), in conjunction with the Casa Invisível Association, is marking the 46th anniversary of the ‘Carnation Revolution’ with a week of activities dedicated to this decisive date in the country’s history.
The first activity will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, the 21st of April and continues on the 22nd and 23rd. The events are all scheduled for 9 pm and found on the CMF’s Facebook page. This children’s and young adult three-part series is called “Freedom in Quarantine Time,” and includes interviews and talks from many well-known names including cultural mediator Catarina Claro, actress Sara Cíntia and artist Cristiana de Sousa, whose talks centre around selected testimonies about Dictatorship, Revolution and Freedom, amongst other things.
