The director of UCAD (Operational Unit for the Intervention in Addictive Behaviors and Dependencies), Nelson Carvalho, considers it “fundamental” that the impact of quarantine on our mental health is measured. To do this, he said, we contacted Professor Ivone Patrão of the Higher Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA), who has developed an online questionnaire and who has made herself available to deal with the data, so we can better understand how social isolation is affecting the island’s population.
