In a statement, MadeiraShopping owners ‘Sonae Sierra confirm that MadeiraShopping has not been sold. The rumours arose after the owners contacted the Competition Authority asking if they would oppose any sale of the commercial space.’
The refutation comes after it was reported that that shopping centre had been sold to Spanish company Atalaya LaTejita.
