Billed as a “concert to commemorate the sound, which is our art, the sound that we work”, the Classical Orchestra of Madeira (CMO) will perform tomorrow evening at the Madeira Congress Centre.
The show, which is almost sold out, marks 56 years of the CMO and pays homage to all those who have contributed to the Orchestra’s success over the last fifty-six years, with particular emphasis on the musicians, guests, composers and all of those who have been part of the Orchestra stated artistic director, Norberto Gomes.
He went on to say the concert will feature guest violinist Mayuko Kamio and American conductor Evan-Alexis Christ. The concerts programme comprises of Symphony No. 8 by Dvořák and concert No. 1 by Paganini.
There are a limited amount of tickets left costing between € 5 and € 20 which can be purchased at La Vie Funchal, at the Loja Naturalmente Português (Floor 1), from 9 am to 10 pm tonight and for a limited time tomorrow. Tickets are available from the Madeira Congress Centre from 2 pm onwards.
