The Portuguese Air Carrier (TAP) has increased, without any prior notice, the fares of its cheap airline tickets.
This sudden increase will particularly hurt Madeiran students, who previously paid €65 for their airfare between Funchal and Lisbon, under the Insular Student Programme, and will now have to pay nearly twice the original price.
TAP has said that their increase is due to ‘minor adjustments.’
