‘Affection Bank’ Collection Campaign

The Francisco Franco Secondary School Affection Bank is holding its first collection campaign for Patronato de São Filipe.

Donations of toiletries, toys, adult clothing, children’s clothing and school supplies are some of the items requested. During January, volunteers from the Banco de Affetos and the school’s 10th-grade pupils will deliver all items collected to the Patronato de São Filipe

A further campaign for the Mother Centre (Centro da Mae) is also underway.  The centre looks after young single mothers who have no families or no family support.

As part of their appeal, they have asked for donations of baby and child clothing from 0 months to 6 years of age, hygiene products, strollers, baby beds, diapers, canned milk, baby food and toys.  All gratefully received donations will be delivered to Centro da Mae on the 11th of December by volunteers from the Affection Bank and students from the school.

Please leave your contributions in the campaign collection area in the lobby of the Francisco Franco Secondary School, Funchal.

Please help them if you can.
