Three Portuguese Air Force F-16 fighters flew over Madeira today as part of the regions radar training and testing programme.
According to a press release from the Portuguese Air Force Public Relations Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Manuel da Costa, the aircraft and pilots left their base at Monte Real, Leiria this morning, en-route to Porto Santo. From there they flew over Madeira.
On completion of their training, the fighters will return to their base in Leiria.
