Late this evening the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters, the Public Security Police and several ambulances were called out to an incident in Palheiro Ferreiro. According to information a car rolled off the road near Lombo da Quinta leaving a woman trapped inside. The woman has been rescued and transported to Dr Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
The PSP are currently assessing the situation, as the cause of the accident is unknown.
