Organisers are excited about their new promotion as they believe that they have caught the essence of the island and its attractions, many of which centre around the sea, nature and lifestyle. Activities include levada walking, dolphin watching, waterfalls and natural pools as well as the Laurissilva forest. The APM is also keen to promote the island as an adrenaline junkie’s paradise with sports such as canyoning, mountain biking, horse riding and paragliding among other things, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Madeira’s outstanding natural beauty.
Just as importantly the campaign also promotes the islands great climate and culture, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and that it is only a one and a half hour flight from the mainland.
